Why exercise is the best thing that will help you quit weed.

The main part of weed addiction, is due to THC getting stored in your internal systems, and making you crave for more and more weed. If you don't know what THC is read more here.

Anywhere you go to get help for your addiction, they will give you the same answer. "You Need to Exercise"

If you read the below post, you will know why this is so true, and the background of it and an all-round idea about how exercise will help you exactly. Having the full picture of what your gains are, will definitely motivate you to stick to it more often.

The number one advantage of exercise is , it will make you busy in your free time. This will effectively limit your time for weed, which should be the main aim for you.

The second advantage is the actual burning of fat, and with the fat you burn so does the THC stored in your body fat. Plus exercise will make you sweat more and in return also make you thirsty, and drinking a lot of water and urinating will help you to put out the THC more effectively and efficiently.

Sweating also release the THC in your skin, SO make sure you have a bath soon after you exercise until you successfully released all of your stored THC (Don't let the sweat dry and the THC will work itself back into your skin). Remember having a bath after a good sweating session is not all that good in the long run, as your body cant cope with the sudden decrease of body temperature, if your body is weak, it might lead to cramps. So wait it out a little bit in the first few rounds until you are fit.

Increase of your metabolism, while exercising will keep you active, in all your work. You will feel fresh and be motivated to do anything you like or even at work.
This in return will make your mind a positive one, keep away from bad news. It will help you to keep your motivation up, which is key. If you don't have motivation you wont do anything at all.
In other words, by exercising you have started your detoxification process automatically. Remember, even if you don't exercise and provided you keep away from weed, the THC in your body will anyway be worn out fully in about a months time, But it will feel as a very very long stressful time period. This is where people who just quit weed, get all their so called after effects, like headache's, chest pains, insomnia, depression and even nightmares in your sleep.

You need to help the process, and give it a good kick start. As I have mentioned earlier in one of my posts, don't start with a big bang, start slow and gradually increase your exercise routine. For example: start your first day by walking 20 mins, and increase 5 mins day by day until finally you are walking 45 mins. After that start jogging 50% of the way and walk the rest. gradually increase this until you don't walk anymore but jog.
After you achieve that stage, then maybe go for a gym and do some more cardio work outs.

I will write a different article on different exercise starters later. It doesnt have to be that boring, your exercise can begin at a dance class even.

Now remember, drinking water is the best, but supply your body with enough electrolytes, by drinking fruit juice.
(Fruit Juice - Citrus ( Lemon,Lime ) , Cranberry, Bananas, Cantaloupe, Grapes, Apricots and Berries Apples, Grapefruits, Kiwi, Oranges and Tangerines.)

In Summary through exercise,

1) Makes you busy in life, and reduce your time for weed
2) Burns the THC in you body fat.
3) Release the THC in your skin, through sweating.
4) Makes you thirsty, and get you drink water, therefore putting out THC out of your system quickly.
5) Keeps your mind positive, about your lifestyle.
6) Automatically starts the detox process that'll help you to avoid the temporary side effects of quitting weed.
7) Plus other benefits of keeping you healthy and active

SO now you know...

How exercise is your best strategy, to quit smoking weed for good.

Medical use of weed - the myths and truths of addiction.

Lets face the facts, people from all ages, groups, nationalities and cultures consume weed for many reasons.

However, it is disturbing to see a 14 year old or a pregnant lady smoking weed even for a weed addict. Why?
Because they know, that the child or lady don't seem to recognize the implications of smoking weed.

Some of the people I know have started or been introduced to Ganja (weed) when they were Children or a young teen. They thought to try it, because they know their brother or sister ( or their parents) smokes weed or they have seen it on TV or films and thought it was funny and an awesome experience.  Most of the addicts I know have started their abuse due to peer pressure and friends. Lets face it, you wouldn't try something out if you didnt see somebody else using it or a person introducing it to you. Its the same feeling like buying something after seeing and advertisement right?
Weed ( Marijuana, Pot, Ganja, Mary J or Cannabis), we all know is a plant. We also know weed is used for medicines for its bound chemicals. It is widely used for HIV and Cancer patients or people who have met with an accident and have injuries as a painkiller. What people don't know is that its the last straw a doctor decides to prescribe Marijuana when all other pain relievers fail. Doctors also use weed for patients with serious mental disorders. Now what weed users tell you is that marijuana is medically used for its healing powers, and will also tell you that its god given medicine. I have read many comments in my research, people who defend the use is Cannabis, states its the way you take it, you should vaporize it, or eat it or its the cigarette paper that harms the lungs etc etc... What they don't realize is that in medicine Marijuana is used to relieve patients of pain so they gain appetite, relieve nausea of other treatments and as I said kill pain. It doesn't heal or cure any medical condition mentioned above.

Weed is used also to treat glaucoma, Alzheimers, stomach and intestine problems, tremors, seizures and epilepsy etc. and the use of good chemicals in weed are researched in many ways to treat a vast spectrum of illnesses and conditions.
There is no record or proof that primary use of Cannabis has resulted in any deaths.

Why is Marijuana so effective and prescribed by doctors?
Cannabis Plant is used in medicine, because of its chemicals. There are around 500 different compounds in weed. THC or Tetrahydrocannabinol is the most prevalent chemical in the plant.  THC has been found to have antioxidant activity and believed to interact with parts of the brain normally controlled by the endogenous cannabinoid neurotransmitter, anandamide which play a role in pain sensation, memory, and sleep.

THC if taken in large quantity, will get dumped around the Dopamine receptor which basically controls the rewards system of the brain. Nearly all drugs, directly or indirectly, target the brain's reward system by flooding the circuit with dopamine. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter (or communication agent) present in regions of the brain that control movement, emotion, motivation, and feelings of pleasure. The over-stimulation of this system, which normally responds to natural behaviors that are linked to survival (eating, spending time with loved ones, etc.), produces euphoric effects in response to the drugs. This is the time that users feel relaxed and happy and this reaction sets in motion a pattern that "teaches" people to repeat the behavior of abusing drugs.

As a person continues to abuse drugs, the brain adapts to the overwhelming surges in dopamine by producing less dopamine or by reducing the number of dopamine receptors in the reward circuit. As a result, dopamine's impact on the reward circuit is lessened, reducing the abuser's ability to enjoy the drugs and the things that previously brought pleasure. This decrease compels those addicted to drugs to keep abusing drugs in order to attempt to bring their dopamine function back to normal. And, they may now require larger amounts of the drug than they first did to achieve the dopamine high-an effect known as tolerance.

Long-term abuse causes changes in other brain chemical systems and circuits as well. Glutamate is a neurotransmitter that influences the reward circuit and the ability to learn. When the optimal concentration of glutamate is altered by drug abuse, the brain attempts to compensate, which can impair cognitive function. Drugs of abuse facilitate non-conscious learning, which leads the user to experience uncontrollable cravings when they see a place or person they associate with the drug experience, even when the drug itself is not available. Brain imaging studies of drug-addicted individuals show changes in areas of the brain that are critical to judgment, decision making, learning and memory, and behavior control. Together, these changes can drive an abuser to seek out and take drugs compulsively despite adverse consequences-in other words, to become addicted to drugs. This is where you will do anything to find the money to purchase weed.

Therefore, it is possible for a person to be seen as normal even under the influence, provided he/she is not a long-term user due to the time it takes for the effects of marijuana to show externally. Plus, the sensations of the use weed also will vary from person to person. If you want to see a full list of signs a person is smoking pot read here.

Cannabis overdose also can cause paranoia and psychosis, produce sharp personality changes, Lung Damage, chronic bronchitis, lowering of testosterone, acute anxiety attacks, chronic reduction of attention span and possible birth defects, still births and infant death.

So when you say its not addictive, please realize its not the physical addiction but the mental addiction that will bring you down.

According to my experience, with drug abusers.
1 joint a day for 4 weeks will give you symptoms of overdose, and effect you internal organs permanently.
3 joints a week for 6 months will also give you the same.
1 joint a week is okay for some people who have a healthy life, but some people with respiratory issues tend to develop complications even so.

Once in a while of everything is always fine. But addiction is something that is always bad.

Quit Smoking Weed for your own good, and for those who love you the most. Remember, with the pollution levels going high, everyday you don't have to smoke anything to get lung cancer. however remember you using weed will not only harm you, your brothers sisters and your kids will observe you, and you might have a better resistance to the pollution now, and the new generation might not be so lucky.

So you quitting now, will not only help you, but others around you too...

Take action, don't get kicked around by people addicted to the same thing they are defending. take the decision and never go back..

As always if you need to quit smoking weed, you should plan it.
I would recommend always to follow a tried and tested program if you can enroll into one. or read my blog as I build it and make your own program.

The below programs give more details and methods you can use in your journey.
